Here’s an interested old Nintendo report from an American news program, at around the era of the original Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). Super Mario Brothers is really shown off.

The cinematic trailer for the new Tomb Raider game, Tomb Raider Underworld looks truly fantastic. Whether or not these graphics were produced by the Tomb Raider Underworld game engine, we can only guess, as the developers have yet to release this kind of information. The PS3 is capable of such graphics, so it may indeed be possible.

This has me asking where Lara Croft will be going in Tomb Raider Underworld, and why exactly she is blowing places up and not raiding tombs. Is the ‘Underworld’ a cursed place? Is she trying to destroy it? Very unusual – looks to be an interesting story line behind Tomb Raider Underworld.
